At the beginning of your orthodontic journey, as a new patient, we schedule a consultation with Dr. Ashcraft in a glass-walled treatment room to allow you to watch established patients as they receive care while visiting with Dr. Ashcraft in a smaller, quieter space for the first time. At this appointment, Dr. Ashcraft evaluates and diagnoses a patient’s case and develops a treatment plan with them. Once he has finished this consultation with the patient and answered any questions, our treatment coordinator provides a good-faith estimate to show you the total treatment fee and discuss any insurance benefits that may be applied to your case (if applicable). This process is intended to clearly communicate the treatment plan and cost, while helping put aside any fears or hesitations a patient may experience before treatment. We also use this glass room or another semi-private room in our clinic to accommodate patients with special needs to help alleviate any unnecessary sensory issues. We offer limited early morning and late afternoon appointments to help our patients with busy schedules find time for orthodontic treatment.
